Kirsty Smallman, director of J&PR Ltd, said: “Initially we thought the Kickstart programme was for large employers so to discover we could employ just one person was excellent. Kerry explained the funding process and the excellent training plans she had for the young people to ensure they made the most out of the opportunity.
“It was clear ALIN wanted to ensure even if the young person didn’t have a job at the end of it with us, that they had a portfolio of skills, knowledge  and evidence to present to their next employer. We are very much looking forward to kickstarting the career of a young, talented person."

The new scheme, created by the UK government to boost opportunities for out-of-work Young Adults between the ages of 16-24 into employment. With the recent changes in the employment landscape and job market Young Adults currently claiming unemployment benefit will be some of the hardest hit with few opportunities.
